WATER TRAINING

During the extended weekend in July, we were lucky with the weather, as the plan was to focus on water training and the summer weather was perfect. Since we have a large group of younger members in the club, most of the training was dedicated to introducing them to water-based activities: boarding and disembarking from a boat, paddleboarding, various types of retrieves, and even helping a surfer in distress, as well as searching for a cadaver on land. For the more experienced dogs, we practiced cadaver searches in the reeds and on the water’s surface. A big thank you goes to Heidelberg Materials for allowing us to train in their sand pits, and also to Jiří Liščař, who generously lent us a Zodiac boat with an engine. On Sunday morning, we focused on obedience and area search. The excellent impression of this great weekend was not only enhanced by the dogs’ performances and dedication in training but also by the evening spent sharing laughs and reminiscing about times long past. :-)
