June Training Camp
Extreme Weather Won't Stop Us! The scorching heat and sudden thunderstorms gave us quite a challenge over the weekend. Due to work commitments and holidays, we gathered in a smaller group this time, but preparations for the July examinations continued at full speed with two teams training on both rubble and area search disciplines. After training, we even added a short water exercise session to cool off. And of course, our regular Sunday morning ritual – a socialization warm-

May Training Camp
Before our May training camp, we visited a local kindergarten, where we prepared a demonstration of our search and rescue dogs' work for the children. 🐕🦺❤️ The children had the opportunity to see our four-legged partners in action, and of course, the most important part was not missing – plenty of petting, cuddles, and joy on both sides. 😊 Thank you for the warm welcome and the wonderful atmosphere! 🐾👧👦 As part of the training camp, we focused on improving both our own

April Training Camp
After several away training camps, we spent the third weekend of April enjoying a well-deserved training camp at Londona, where beautiful spring weather provided perfect conditions for intensive training. Our main focus was on refining precise indication work and strengthening motivation, both of which are essential for the reliable performance of our dogs in the field. In addition to training, we also managed to complete a spring clean-up of our Rebelka base, agreed on new t

Field Training Exercise in Slovakia
As the Slovak national anthem goes, “Above the Tatras, lightning flashes, thunder fiercely roars...” — that was exactly the kind of weather that greeted us upon our arrival on Thursday evening. Fortunately, everything changed afterwards. This time, our latest training camp took us to Slovakia, to the city of Martin, where we were welcomed on Friday morning by absolutely beautiful spring weather that stayed with us until departure. A fantastic rubble training site awaited us,

Away Training Camp – Chbany and Vrané
While social media was flooded over the weekend with sun-soaked photos from South Bohemia, we were enjoying a slightly different kind of “romance” in Chbany and Vrané. Instead of azure skies, we were greeted by fog so thick you could almost cut it with a knife. But even that couldn't dampen our spirits. We are thrilled with the great progress our four-legged partners have made and proud to see them one step closer to their first certification tests. Thanks to everyone for the

February Off-site Training Camp
As planned, we once again set out for an off-site training camp, this time to the IZS training facility Poštorná in Boří les! After a major generational change, our young dogs urgently need new environments to gain experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire event and are returning home with plenty of new experiences and a great feeling about our talented juniors. 🙂

Frosty Training Camp
In freezing weather (almost 15 degrees below zero) and a proper blizzard, we gathered on Saturday morning for the first training camp of the year. We fired up the stove and headed straight into the rubble 🙂It’s great that we also have covered rubble training areas, because working in debris with a 20 cm snow cover wouldn’t be ideal. For young dogs, it is still important to reinforce indication; during the morning training we strengthened motivation and introduced different s

DECEMBER OFF-SITE TRAINING CAMP
We approached the December training camp as an off-site event and left our home base, Londonka. The change of environment allowed us to try out new terrains and provide both handlers and their canine partners with valuable new experience. Saturday was dedicated to the rubble training site in Chbany, where we scheduled intensive training focused on the individual needs of both handlers and dogs, as well as work in open spaces combined with long-distance indication. On Sunday,

NOVEMBER TRAINING CAMP
After a demanding period connected with organizing the World Championship, there was more than enough training at the November camp this time. We trained hard, and as always, there was a great atmosphere throughout. As usual, there was no time to waste after arriving on Friday—we jumped straight into a night rubble search. Saturday was clearly in a competitive spirit. The K9 Championship took place according to the rubble test of the second difficulty level under the internat

OCTOBER TRAINING CAMP
After more than a year of preparation for the 29th IRO World Championship, we were finally able to fully dive back into training—and we definitely didn’t waste any time! Training took place on all fronts: from rubble work, tracking, and area search to obedience, and we even managed to fit in cadaver work in the evening. Sunday was dedicated to the exam participants, joined by our trainer Kristýna. Together with her adolescent female dog, she officially set out on the path of

PESTRÉ SOUSTŘEDĚNÍ
As planned, a training camp took place over the extended July weekend, where handlers got to try a bit of everything. On Thursday evening, we jumped straight into a night search training session. Nature is relentless, and despite the newly created fourth rubble training area, vegetation had already grown through various gaps up to a full meter. So, on Friday, we rolled up our sleeves, put on gloves, and tackled the overgrown rubble.

THANK YOU FOR THE JOURNEY ACROSS THE RAINBOW
There are moments that inevitably bring back vivid memories of the heartbreakingly short lives of our dogs. Moments that definitively close chapters of extraordinary lives—final moments spent with beings whose actions have forever and irreplaceably engraved them into our hearts. I know that after thirteen years of deep symbiosis, saying goodbye to our canine partners is immensely painful.

Slovakia
At the end of June, our two representatives went to compete at the Slovak National Championship – Cassovia Rescue Cup. Petra Prokešová with Shelby not only managed to revalidate their certification, but also scored a remarkable 184 points in the most difficult rubble search test and 75 points in obedience.
Petr Prokeš with Lexík managed – for the SIXTH time – to find all three missing persons in the most difficult area search test (search in the forest)! Unfortunately, the s

HIT!
On Monday morning, the news reported that a mother of two from Tábor was missing after leaving a farewell letter. That afternoon, the family of the missing woman contacted us asking for help.
The K9 Rescue CZ emergency unit dog handlers were immediately alerted. In cases like this, where time and scale are crucial, we also reached out to fellow colleagues and friends from other clubs.
