The Baby Boom continues
At the last weekend training camp of the year, we had planned the K9 Championship with the RH TV exam – mainly for the largest (and youngest) part of our team. Our group is now nicely divided into senior veterans, year-and-a-half-old “youth,” and brand-new babies.

EXPEDITION PAPUA
The orthodox exoticism from childhood dreams often becomes a fulfilled reality only much later in adult life. Yet the most important fact remains: it does come true. Harsh, demanding, uncompromising – yet absolutely unique, the atmosphere of expedition travel through the Raja Ampat region is now forever etched into the minds of the participants, as they explore perhaps the last surviving earthly paradises.

Welcome Eliška
The November training camp was made even more special with a visit from our members' children, including the youngest – just a few months old, Eliška! Since we had Londonka all to ourselves, all the teams dove into the rubble and continued their training with scent work.

PAWS IN THE AIR
The colorful fantasy of Indian summer, slowly transitioning into autumn, stuns its admirers with an endless spectrum of beauty. The azure sky, overflowing with sunlight, crowned the past beautiful weekend, which was extended by the Czech statehood holiday. The roar of the uncoronated king of the South Bohemian forests – the European elk – is slowly quieting, and the voice of the following rut of the fallow deer is already heard.

A VERY INTENSIVE TRAINING CAMP
The training camp was crowned by an unusual experience—a flight over the town of Soběslav in an “Andula” aircraft, together with our four-legged partners.

THE LADIES' GAMBIT
One can only marvel, but the fact remains that in recent times, the canine world is undeniably dominated by the female element. This is certainly not a disadvantage, but where are the men who not long ago filled the training grounds? Were they forced by circumstances to merely earn money, or are they lazily lounging in restaurants? That this is not a purely Czech phenomenon is evidenced by foreign groups alternating at Londonka. Here, all-female groups with one or two men are

World Championship in Finland 2024
Great news from the “battle” in Finland! Our representative Petr Prokeš scored 73 points in obedience and found all persons in the search area (forest search) for 160 points at the World Championship. He met the trial qualification limit, which is highly valued at the WC!The entire club congratulates him on a wonderful performance and thanks him for his excellent representation.

Weekly Camp
On the very first day of the camp, we started with a night training session in the rubble. In the following days, we focused primarily on forest search training and obedience, as the international exams are approaching and there’s still plenty of room for improvement in these skills.

July Training Camp
During the extended weekend in July, we were fortunate with the weather, as our plan was water training, and the summer weather was simply perfect. Since we have a large group of younger members in the club, the majority of the training was focused on introducing them to water-based activities: boarding and disembarking from a boat, paddleboarding, various types of retrieves, as well as rescuing a surfer in distress, searching for a cadaver on land, and for the more experienc

CUP OF FRIENDSHIP
Although Londonka welcomed the participants of this year’s Cup of Friendship under the shadow of the death of its oldest member, Mr. Jaroslav Flíček, as if covered by an imaginary black veil, the level of the competition and the quality of the performances of the starting field were definitely not negatively affected. On the contrary, the central strength of the competition's idea seemed to be expanded by a very prominent romantic dimension, as a tribute to his memory.

May Training Camp Was Truly Exhausting
At the Friday meeting, we surprised our youngest handlers with a draw for their starting numbers. We had prepared an exciting test of their growing skills in the form of a Night Horror Race. Handlers were informed about a simulated rescue mission they would face and had to quickly prepare. The race followed a pre-determined forest trail with several checkpoints, where dogs had to locate and indicate all missing persons. At the end of the trail, the final task awaited — direct

SLOVAK BRONZE
I love Slovakia in all its aspects, from the captivating beauty of its mountains to its proud and healthily self-confident inhabitants, and I am always happy to return there.
Every success achieved in Slovakia at meticulously organized canine rescue events is all the more gratifying. From May 17–19, 2024, the 7th edition of the Cassovia Cup was held in Košice, organized under the auspices of IRO and FCI as the Slovak Championship in all IPOR categories. The historic name C
